In April of 2020, because of the COVID-19 virus pandemic and the need to social distance, RMF started holding board meetings and general meetings online. Below will be a list of meetings that were held and recordings that you may review.

Rocky Mountain Flycasters May 2020 Genereal Meeting
On May 29, 2020, RMF held its second virtual meeting during the COVID-19 pandemic. Below you can view the meeting as it was recorded. The meeting was introduced by Mickey McGuire, RMF President, Mark Miller showed how he ties the Comparadun and a simple Damsel Fly Nymph. Our featured speaker Karin Miller, the founder and owner of Zen Tenkara, presented for the chapter. Karin covered the basics of Tenkara and then dove into how you can use Tenkara rods during run off on our local rivers and tips and techniques to fight big fish on light-weight Tenkara rods using geometry.
Rocky Mountain Flycasters April 2020 General Meeting
On April 15, 2020, RMF held its first virtual meeting during the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting was introduced by Mickey McGuire, RMF President and then Matt Fairchild of the US Forest Service as Fish Biologist presents an overview of the Native Greenback Cutthroat Recovery done in the State of Colorado as well as current research being done. Wrapping up the discussion, Matt projects work yet to be done through 2025 and what you can do to assist the process.
