Rocky Mountain Flycasters 2013 Event
November 20 is our Annual Guest Night. It is always a special night and this year is no exception. We will be hosting author and avid fly fisher Ed Engle presenting “A Western Fly Fisher’s Life.”
Ed Engle has been an avid fly fisherman for more than 30 years. He has fly fished throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Mexico, Chile, Argentina and in Europe for a variety of game fish species with a special emphasis on trout.
Ed is a freelance writer, he has contributed to many publications including Trout, Fly Tyer Magazine, and his blog, the “Lone Angler Journal”. He has written several books, including Fishing Small Flies (2004), Tying Small Flies (2003), Trout Lessons (2010), Fishing the Tail Waters (2991), Splitting Cane (2002), and Seasonal: A Life Outside (1990).

Raffle items include fly fishing rods, flies, books, and other great items.
Elkhorn Rod and Reel will be available with rods to try out. Come cast a rod. Need some new tying tricks? Connor Murphy and Jin Choi, fly tyers from St. Peter’s Fly Shop will be on hand with fly tying demonstrations. As usual, admission is free and open to the public.
