The Chapter has stepped up to provide volunteers for the National Fly Fishing Championship.

The RMF – Robert Behke Scholarship presentation will take place on October 4. RMF will be represented.

Cleanup on the Poudre took place. 24 volunteers cleaned up 18 miles of the river.

Citizen participation in the EIS process for Halligan and Seaman reservoir expansion projects is being solicited. The process will start in October with a seminar run by the Corps of Engineers. One of the topics will be mitigation flows in the North Fork of the Poudre.

The next two Board meetings will take place in the homes of the officers. October Board meeting will be at Greg Evans' house. Ken Eis will host the November meeting. To assist in the recruitment of new officers, the Chapter By-laws and duties of the volunteer leaders will be formally defined.

It was decided that a Banquet will not be scheduled for spring 2008. Ideas for a fundraiser were sought.

The Chapter has associated with the Colorado Conservation Alliance. This association will promote greater awareness and responsiveness from the Colorado Congressional delegation on conservation issues.
